New Evening format at SIDCUP and BRIGHTON
Our new venue in Brighton opened with a real bang two weeks ago, with around 70 dancers joining us for the first night! A big thank you to everyone who made the evening go so well!
The managers at the Carden Hill Community Centre were very impressed with the dancing and have put a lot of work into polishing up the floor over the last two weeks since opening night, and we are pleased to report that their hard work has really paid off, with the floor now feeling a lot smoother and better for spinning! We also felt that the lighting was a little dark on the opening night, so we have brought in some extra lighting units – and the venue opening up the bar to the side of the dancefloor has also brought more light into the room.
Sidcup and Deal are continuing well – we celebrated Valentines Day at both venues last week. At Deal we had a great Saturday Freestyle with atmospheric lighting and decorations, and at Sidcup we had a fantastic Latin Class from Miguel Angel Plaza, which set us up for a fun-filled evening of dance!
We have a lot of exciting news and events coming up over the next few weeks for you...

New Evening Format at Sidcup and Brighton
In response to feedback from our customers, we have decided to trial a new format at our Sidcup and Brighton venues to give you extra dancing time!
Starting this week, we will have one beginner/intermediate level class starting at 8.15pm and lasting for approximately 30 minutes. The class will combine both beginner and more advanced moves to challenge the more experienced dancer.
Freestyle will begin at 8.45pm – giving you TWO AND A QUARTER HOURS FREESTYLE in Brighton, and a massive TWO AND THREE QUARTER HOURS FREESTYLE in Sidcup.
We will also run a beginners consolidation class at 9.00pm to help the new dancers get to grips with the moves!
We welcome lots of feedback from our customers over the next few weeks as to how you feel this change to the evening is working out, to decide whether to move to this new format on a permanent basis.
