Yourself Dizzy at Minstead every Thursday
Since
we opened at Minstead back in the snow of January our newest class night
has proved very popular averaging around 70 - 80 jivers at this cracking
jewel of a venue.
Entry
will be £7, but is currently fixed at £5. But keep your eyes
peeled for vouchers given out at other DYD class nights and freestyles
that will get you in even cheaper at Minstead, and also for our freestyle
reminder texts that also may get you in cheaper to Minstead classes too!
So come and join us to dance the night away every Thursday with DYD at
Minstead!

is closed for one night only on 8th April whilst the floor gets re-varnished.
Back open on 15th April.
Situated
within the New Forest, Minstead Hall has a long history of holding Modern
Jive events. With it's large dancefloor, great atmosphere, licensed bar
and plenty of parking, right outside, it makes for a cracking venue. Although
within the New Forest, Minstead is easily accessible as it is less than

Introduce
a New Beginner - Both Get In Free!
When
you introduce a new beginner to any Dance Yourself Dizzy class night -
both you and the new beginner you introduce can get in free that night.
Simply print off a voucher.
Valid
until the end of April 2010 at any DYD class night. Voucher valid for

Freestyles April / May
DYD Freestyles
are coming at you thick and fast throughout April and May. First up is
our Easter Freestyle at Winchester
Guild Hall on Good Friday, 2nd April. Entry is £9.00 on the
door or £8.00 if you are on, or join, our text message service (Details

The following
week, April 10th, its our regular monthly freestyle at Totton
which continues to be as popular as ever and this month we also have an
extra Totton date on the 24th April. Entry to these nights is £8.00

Squeezed
in the middle of our two Totton nights, on April 17th, is the first Basingstoke
Freestyle of the year. Our regular Monday night Basingstoke venue
is the newest addition to our freestyle list and as an extra incentive
to come and join us entry is is just £6.00 or ONLY

Battle
of The Dj's Freestyle
On Saturday
29th May at Andover Leisure Centre there will be a Battle! A battle between
2 Dj's vying to get as many jivers up dancing to their tunes as possible!
Andover
Leisure Centre has possibly the largest dancefloor in the South. At one
end of the huge dancefloor 'In the Blue Corner!' will be Danny from Dance
Yourself Dizzy, and at the other end 'In the Red Corner!' will be Amanda
from Jiveolution. Each Dj will take it in turns playing half hours sets
for your dancing pleasure.
Battle
of the Dj's freestyle - Saturday 29th May. 8pm - 12am.

can take you right from the very basics of how to start and how to stand
through all of the beginner moves right the way through to the more tricky
improvers, intermediate and more advanced moves. Each DVD takes you through
each move individually and then runs through the move to a count in the
same way as you would learn in a normal class. All DVDs can be purchased
