The Amazing LeRoc's Surrey Summer Beach Balls is this Saturday 19th June.

Sadly previously advertised Cabaret by Adam & Tas have been replaced by the fantastic Graeme & Ann, due to an injury to Tas. Graeme & Ann have performed at many LeRoc Surrey big events, & we are ecstatic at short notice they coming back!!
This Ball is full of amazing décor, atmosphere that's electric +fabulous dancing in the Grand Hall.

FRESH 3 events kick off at 8pm in the Main Ballroom. DJ Rob Ambridge is in residence and is ready to play the set of his life! The first room is called "EUPHORIA" & Rob will keep the music 'fast, funky and energetic' in keeping with the room name that will keep you on the dance floor all night long.
Room two is called "UTOPIA" & opens at 9pm. Marc Forster is set to play the best Blues, Latin, R & B & WCS tracks to give you the freedom to express yourself on the dance floor.
The third room is the "MILONGA" room & opens at 8pm with a one hour tango class with Marc Forster & Rachel Pears. Marc & Rachel will treat you to the very best rhythmic and emotive tango tunes and are teaching a free one hour Tango workshop from 8:00pm - 9:00pm.
You can wander freely between all three rooms. Parking is free and on site and there will be a fully licenced bar too.

A chance for Blues dancers to take part in, and be part of, a weekend of Blues-focused challenges -where your peers are your judges! With seven categories, there is something for everyone -and if competing is not your thing, as part of the audience YOU have responsibility for deciding who makes it through the preliminary rounds and gets put before the panel of well-respected Blues-room dancers who will be judging the semi's and the finals.

The 'Crystal Blues Challenge' is transparently clear. As Blues dancing is not a performance dance, dancers are not required to perform to judges - just dance as the music inspires you on an intimate Blues-room floor.

Everyone attending is given their voting chips and information about things to look for while watching (musicality, interpretation, style,
aesthetics, etc). After each round you cast your vote and the highest
scoring couples make it through to the next stage. When the audience has
decided who they would like to be placed before the panel, the panel will
use the same criteria to score the semis and ultimately the finals. Simples!
No more wondering if the judges were watching the same competition as
you.

Although the event itself will be spread over the entire weekend, the
challenges will take place over two days, with a variety of categories to
choose from. You can choose to enter any number of categories, either all
in one day, or spread over both. And of course during both days there will
be vast amounts of freestyle time, so as a spectator you will get plenty of
dance-floor time too.

Choose from:
Best-of-luck! - you deal with the hand you're dealt with. We shuffle you
up - you get who you're given!
Beginner Blues - You'll be judged by your peers so if this cap fits, wear it!
Cool 'N' Confident - You'll be judged by your peers so if this cap fits, w ear
it!
Gritty Blues - No dips, no drops, no lifts, just pure, expressive, musical
blues dancing. Get creative!
All-comers - for the big boys and girls. prepared to take on anyone and
everyone!
Showcase - Choose your music, create your performance - deliver it!
Beat-up Blues (over 45's) - For those of you just a little over-the-hill and
not happy playing with the youngsters.!

The Doors open at the Frnham Memorial Hall - 8.30pm for a Lindy-Hop basics
lesson with Angela, Ralph and June, ideal for those who want to extend their
4-beat modern jive to 6 and 8 beat moves. Dancing to the music of DJ Dene
(Junction 18) follows until 10.45pm, bring your own drinks. £7.00 on the door
