Recent News New weekly Jive Venue!
Monday Nights in Farnham will never be the same, now that the Surrey Swing Dance Sociey are holding their weekly swing dance frenzy from 9.30pm 'til late at the Memorial Hall. DJ Dene of junction 18 fame spins the discs, and Angela June and Ralph teach a Lindy hop class at 8.30, before the lights are dimmed and the music plays on into the night. Don't worry if you're a modern jiver as there's plenty of jiveable swing music in the air. This hall boasts the best sprung floor in the area. Come and see for yourself, bring your own refreshments, squash available for free. Lesson and freestyle £7 and £5 from 9.30pm. Ample free parking available. BBQ Dance Wk'end at Murphy's, Falmouth - 5/6/7 Aug Unique dance weekend in an amazing location! Marquee with dance floor to withstand 150 + dancers. Afternoon workshops in jive, wcs, dips & drops, etc. with guest instructors. Dance & Cabaret in the evening. BBQ food and chilli at midnight. Free tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
